    1200 water routing

    so the setup i did to the tx seems to work she went 6810 rpm with the big prop and stator,all though i redirected the pisser so i'll have to see how wet i get next time out.the mag still gets hotter than the other 2 with the t-stat at idle and the self drain blocked off,so i started thinking about an easy way to add the cooling cover and improve the mag water flow yet keep the 2000 guys with the stock water rail and add the t-stat and pop-off back into the housing.modifing group k's solution and going one step further i decided to put a straight tap off the end off the mag cylinders end of the water rail,turn that down into the top of the cooling cover,and exit the bottom of the cooling cover rearward into a pisser that dumps into the area of the ride plate same as the t-stat exit,you wouldn't see it,but it will always self drain that way.does anybody have a msx140 hose that goes from the t-stat housing to the rear of the hull?might spin the tx rail around and see how the mag temp does with that as well.the pto and cen were close enough on temp to not be an issue.and i don't see the twins having the same heat on the mag either.
