    Vtech 8350 for stock 13 RXPX 260

Ordered my first mod for my 2013 RXPX 260 -- Vtech maptuner. Going to install tonight. No other mods.

Just want to confirm the 8350 tune is the most ideal for a bone stock ski -- tried searching and couldn't find clear direction.

    Thanks!

It's a good start. It will likely whet your appetite for more speed.

Gus would be the one to ask on this

Yes it will work nice on your ski!

I would prop to stay under about 8100 if I was running stock injectors

thanks for all of the responses. is there a risk in not changing out the prop and running this tune? sorry for the newbie questions...

Yes, with a stock prop, you will be at about 8300. With the stock setup on a cool day, these motors max out at about 8150 RPM and 100% duty cycle on the injectors. What that means is your injectors are already maxed out. Once the injectors are maxed out, the motor will just keep getting leaner as RPMs and horsepower climb.

Can you explain how my afr is 11.9-12.2 WOT @ 8600+ with walbro pump and rising rate hooked up? Mods in sig. Stock injectors

I would of thought that there would be a little more room in the injectors then that.

Yep, the rising rate and a fuel pump that will survive the new pressures is saving your butt. Your injectors are hung at 100% DC and the ECU has no control of the fueling at that point.

I personally would never tune AFRs with a RRFPR and playing with fuel pressure unless i was forced to by the rule book. I racing, you do what you have to do.

We did this on a race car I was tuning once but we had to replace the pump after every race. Tacky but it fit the rule book. We also had closed loop WOT fueling.
