Need some help with the Vtech Guru's

A local customer of mine has a 2012 RXPX 260. Bought the ski brand new. Put about 40 hours on it bone stock. Bought the tuning credit and reflashed with the 8375 tune that is supposed to be safe. This ski is 100% bone stock with the exception of the fizzle f1000 upgrade. Less than 10 hours later and this, ski runs 8100 or so all day:

So my question is (because im not up on the tuning aspect of the newer skis) is what do we do next? This customer wants something reliable, no gauges, no RRFPR to play with. I would like to give him some answers or help as hes not a member of the forum. Thanks!

Well first you need to clean the deck surface so the new gasket properly seals to the block. Then you need to remove the mountain dew bottle from the coolant overflow line. Once both those things are done you can add a nice ride plate, intake, exhaust, torque plate and call it done

head gasket? I thought I was just going to use copper spray and rtv.

I just don't want this thing to pop another head gasket. So if there is another "safer" tune then I would obviously opt for that.

how the f does such a low RPM tune blow a head gasket? Put studs in that bitch and flow the injectors.

one thing that will blow a head gasket is hitting the rev limiter constantly in choppy water and never getting out of the throttle...........regardless of rpm tune fuel or anything else..................BET!!!!!!!!

I completely agree with that. although the river we ride in hardly gets "choppy"

8375 tune with 34 degrees should be super safe
