Advice on setup
I have the mods listed in my signature. I know the best thing to do would be a reflash, upgraded intercooler and a better wheel, but the budget is not going to allow me to do all that right now. I am thinking about just doing the reflash for now then the intercooler and wheel next summer.
My question is, with a reflash and my increased RPM's will I need to repitch my prop? Also, should I go with the R2 or R3?
Thanks for any advice you can give.

I had the same decision to make and I went with the R3. I didn't want to pay to up upgrade the R2 in a year or so. What speeds are you getting now?

I'm at 73 mph but I'm still running the stock prop. I need to re-pitch it. I also weigh 280, so that's probably scrubbing off some speed. My goal is 75mph which I feel is very realistic with my mods.

I've decided to go with the R3 and the Riva engine cooling upgrade for the stock intercooler. I'm thinking this will get me to 75ish. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong or if there is something better then the riva cooling upgrade for my setup for around the same money.

Good decision to go with the R3. No sense paying for the R2 and then upgrading a year later. Also, if you decide to change out the sc wheel, you already have the R3. I am upgrading to a 160mm pump so if you are interested in any of the following, let me know: 14/23 Skat, 15/22 Skat, 13/22R Solas.
