Normal or no?
Snapped an R&D shaft so I removed the charger. Is the clutch (2014) supposed to spin this much after shutoff? Sorry about the oily mess but I wasnt about to hold a rag down there.

With no SC attached to the motor I can see it spinning that long. The charger would normally make it spin down quicker.
And yes, I have worked on these before.

Yes that would be normal
The boost wheel would normally help it slow quicker

what were the circumstances of youre R&D shaft breaking ??? I broke one not long ago, the nut and end of the shaft popped off, had the same spinning down as you, sounded weird till I figured out what has happened

It basically broke at idle and saved my housing, thrust plate, etc.
