FX SHO warning code after R&D ecu install
Got a 08 FX SHO and just recently got an R&D R3 reflash. installed, and now the ski is pulling a code 68.
Checked the yamaha service manual, and it skips that code. any one know what this code calls for ?

If you got the reflash for a FZ and trying it on a FX you will get this code cause they are miss matched to which ski they are on. FZ no wake/cruse control. FX have no wake and cruse control. Tommy Jordan

yea i got it from a buddy of mine, who had it on his conversion ski, but he has a fz donor parts and he was getting same code, and this was supposed to be a FX ecu. so now that i have it on my FX conversion GPR, its still having the same code. so i think the easiest solution to this would be to disconnect the buzzer Lol

If you have access to yamaha YDS. Hook it up and in the upper right corner of screen, it will tell you the internal ecu serial #. 6AN=FZ..6S5=FX. The serial # on the outside of the ecu doesn't always mean much. R&D completely erases the ecu before a reflash. For a time a few years ago. They would reflash whichever ecu the customer sent to what they wanted. So if you bought a used FZ ecu and needed an FX flash, they would do it. Now the flash didn't match what the serial # on outside indicated. R&D has stopped doing that, but there are some out there floating around.
