Got to Take My Boat For A Ride!!

My boat rolled off the assembly line last wensday, i got the boat Saturday and got to take it for a ride Tuesday.. (kinda cold 68degrees)

It was I (192lbs) my buddie (215lbs) and his girlfriend (130lbs)

I was impressed by the boats ride, handling, and accelleration... Its more like a toy than a boat.. (JUST WHAT I WANTED)

Saw a top speed of 40 on the dreammeter (was probobly more like 50-52) Rpms were steady at 7800 on almost glass water... I babied the boat the rest of the time only duing a few hard runs..

NOTE: i filled the ride plate holes..and filled the gaps between the speedo drive and the hull..

    COME ON WARM WEATHER>......

yep more toy than boat, thats what I wanted too! You need to ride it alone once so you can see the difference in handling and acceleration, its pretty amazing solo.

I gave $16,600 for the boat, $900 for the extended warranty, and 500 for the cover and $500 for the bimini top..

Came to $19,500 out the door..

I assume you took the 5.9% financing, instead of the free three year BEST warranty that BRP is offering? You might have been better off just paying a little higher financing rate and taking the warranty.

I guess my deal was about the same, all things considered:

$18,600 total out-the-door, includes delivery, taxes, tags, trailer, bimini installed, depth finder installed, & free three year warranty. My big mistake was getting the depth finder. I thought it was pretty slick that it integrates into the boat's LCD istruments, but it's not $600 slick, especially since a good depth finder with its own display can be had for about $100, and more especially because BRP still hasn't written the software to make this $600 paperweight work!

you guys make me feel like I got screwed, I paid $19,400 out the door, and the only thing I got other than the free warranty was a galvanized trailer instead of the standard painted one.

Then you'll just have to drive it harder to get your money's worth! If it makes ya feel better, all the money I've wasted trying to get my intake right, kinda makes us even; I've ripped my whole intake out and started from scratch, doing it right this time... hopefully.
