    new engine in 2007 250

Hi, my brother who is a car mechanic was given a 2007 Kawasaki 250 x because the engine was blown. He is installing new engine now. Im thinking of buying this from him (dirt cheap price!) was wondering, what kind of issues may it end up having after replacing engine? I have only owned Seadoos, I plan on buying this jet ski for my husband because he wants speed. Anyone have advice or issues with jet ski after new engine? thanks for any help, advice, suggestions

Check out the "Sticky" in the Kawasaki perf. section that Sean & others put together. Excellent place to start.

if he is a mechanic and he is replacing the engine and hes your brother im sure you will be fine. you shouldnt end up with issues after a new motor. however that particular ski does require lots of tlc, as suggested above read up on them.

Agreed, I doubt your bro would screw you over on purpose however while he is probably good at wrenching, there is tons of little things to know about motorcycle engines and the Ultra series in general that make it way different than a car engine. Like others have said, research, pass that info to your bro and have at it..
