    Black foam removal?

Can the black foam inside the hull be easily removed without damage? Particularly the ones in the rear that the waterbox, battery, and EMM sit on.

It may come out with no motor in the hull. Im not sure how its held in place. When i got my Matrix is wasnt glued in at all. The way to get it out is probably to slide it straight toward the front of the ski. That is if you want to be able to put it back.

I'd prefer to put them back
Just wondering about it. I'll be stripping the hull to have the new gel coat sprayed and want to clean out the inside spic-n-span also.

There is no way is coming out easy or in one piece. I had to remove it for my conversion. Had to cut it in half. Exhaust side comes out in one piece

    Was yours a 140 or a 110/150 GGG?

What side do most folks install the bilge pump on?

His (now mine) started life as a 150.

They are glued in. I've removed the foam from two other hulls. Exhaust side is easy. I cut the other side out with an old serated knife. It worked well.

I mounted my MSX 140 bilge pump on the left side of the pump tunnel.
