why would they need a new motor
the motor already has many limiters per the US Coast Guard
the none of the ACE motors are built for boost
IMO we will see more fluff
or maybe another plastic hull model
although I would like to see them replace the SC with a turbo.....not likely

I sure hope they do something. Its time for them to pull the trigger as the 1.8L in the Yamaha is killing them. Also Kawai is probably thinking of something big as well...
Come on Seadoo listen to you customers like Yamaha Did and let the displacement out. Come on....

I didn't say a new motor I just said and more advanced motor with more power since the doo is now one of the weaker engines

Attended Club BRP event for Asia Pacific this week and spoke to a lot of the Sea Doo people in the know. Word is the possibility of a larger displacement Ace motor fitted with turbo in the PX/TX models. We will find out when BRP have their meeting in U.S. In September

I think the 4-tec can be a little more competitive with larger injectors , bigger fuel pump, a few more psi of boost with retainers and rpm. This would allow the same 1.5l without a major revision. I'm still in break in period on my 2 units but I already have thought ... Hopefully they feel fast as my first true reaction is they don't feel real stout. I've got 2 hours on each so far and have not used 100% throttle yet but .. Even my 0-50% riding feels anemic .
