Picking up a built 2006 RXP215. What should I look for?

    http://miami.craigslist.org/mdc/boa/4969268450.html

I got an ok for this ski at $3,500 to pick up on Saturday. How does the mod list look? What should I look out for on the blower? Anything that I should inspect or take a look at before signing the bill of sale? Thank you in advance.

He said "I have a built engine with all performance parts valves can hold 10k rpms I was going to turbo it that now it is built but I lost interest when I bought a boat".

it is an 05. Always have a budget for repairs for a ski that has had significant work done and someone you trust that has worked successfully on them before. If you can get some warranty, that would be a HUGE bonus, but for his price, I highly doubt a warranty will be offered.

Jim how can you tell it is an 05? Thank you for your insight.

And I'm sure another member will chime in, but I didn't think they made the green other then 2004 and 2005.

Sweet. Thanks guys. I am hoping it is a steal and worth it. Anything stand out or anything I should look for? He said there is a bolt on the J pipe that broke off that I need to replace.

Compression test and leakdown on the motor and ride it. There are some aftermarket parts you can see, but I would be skeptical on a "fully built" motor that he just never did anything with. I would pry ask for reciepts on that. Past that, it looks like a slean ski, ust make sure it all works before you throw down the cash.

He is sending me an email with the receipt for the motor build. Is compression and leak down something I can do in the drive way? I am driving about 2 hrs to go check it out.
