    Do I really need it...

I will be changing out my SC washers and bearings this weekend. Do I really need to get that wrench everyone keeps talking about that keeps bending or can I just use a cresent wrench? Or any other wrench for that matter.

The trick is to heat the nut off before you try and break it loose. Heating it will break down the loc tite. Also as mentioned an impact will work wonders in getting it off. The stock seadoo tool is sufficient to use to torque the nut back down to 22 ft lbs. It won't be too much longer that my new tool will be released.
