I bought a red factory cover. Don't remember the price but seems like it was less than 200.00

A buddy of mine got one and did some major paint damage. Lots of rubbing.

My buddy and I got ours for $169 at time of purchase. This was from the dealer who was selling the Ultra for 10,169, the five year warranty (4+1) for $695 all thanks to Richard on this forum - Many continuing thanks to him.

    Color Options

Thanks for that heads up on the paint damage via trailer!

On the subject of cover colors (Kawasaki Ultra specific) they are in fact blue, red or silver. The parts guy in my store said the silver cover did not have the "supercharged" logo on it. Evidently the blue and red versions do. Price was right around $200. They can be seen on the official kawasaki sight under watercraft/acc.

Are the scratches because the Ultra covers are different from other Vac u Hold covers?
I have used them while towing and havent had any problems?
I picked up my 250x today but the dealer had to order my cover and I havent seen it yet.

The damaged paint is not the fault of the covers. They are made of the same material that Kawi has used for years. The problem is with defective paint (especially red) that doesn't seem to cure properly and stays soft. Instead of blaming the covers and not using them for one of their intended purposes...ie trailering...I think Kawi should be threatened with a group lawsuit to make them acknowledge and correct the paint issue !
