How do I ride this stand up??? Any tips???

Can somone tell me how to ride this thing? I got a 650sx standup and I started it again today and just let it idle on the hose and its running great. Please just describe to me how I should hold on to it when I go through a no wake zone just idling. Do I just lay on it and drag? Also, it doesn't have a bilge. It just has one bailer. That sucks, I gotta wipe all the water out with a rag if I get any in there. And what is the absolute easiest way to get up onto it standing on it when its on plane? Any tips for turning, jumping, and general riding tips? Also the exhaust is on the port side of the standup, if I were to roll it over which way do I turn it to right it again? I took this thing down to the water with my friend and he tried riding a standup that he got, (550 I think) and he fell off and tried to hold on and it flipped upside down. He rolled it over again and the engine was full of water. They seem really tipsy and I just want to be knowledgable before I try to actualy get up on it. Last time I couldn't get up. I kept falling off. There are no stickers on this 650 sx that tell you which way to roll it so I am just curious. I don't know if this is right but I think if you roll it you keep rolling it in the direction of the exhaust. So since the pipe is on the left if I roll it to the left (counter clockwise) I keep rolling it counter clockwise until it is up right. And if I roll it the the right (clockwise) then I roll it counter clockwise as well until it is up right correct? Thanks, Charlie

there the most fun possible for short ride screwing around
and surf ridding there insane air fun

I still have a pair of CLASIC 1985 kawasaki 550's someone gave me.

funny thing is a 440 is what i first starting riding back in 1986 (21 years ago) and what starter my addiction to the PWC sport.

    alright heres a few tips

theres the drag start. basicly you lay on it and let you lower body drag kinda in the water. not exactly my favorite. I can remember a few times seeing peoples shorts or bikini bottoms getting blown right off

then theres the preferable sitting on your knees in the back of the foot well till you get moving then slowly raise 1 leg & start putting your NON domiante foot forward, then start standing up as you build up speed.

by dominate foot i mean, well heres a test
stand straight up facing forward with you feet a legs perfectly even like a military stance. now have someone just push you from the back..( not too hard)

the foot you ended up naturaly putting forward to catch your ballance is the dominate foot

this test should repeat itself 95% of the time over and over. dont try to think what your going to do just let your foot react.

that the one that should end up in back while your standing up finally.

some people are called "goofyfooted" (i ride a snowboard goffyfooted)meaning they ride the other foot forward... once you find the right stand and master your "popup" you will be able to get it evey time and realy start enjoys the playfullness of a microski (by todays standards)

Ahh.. The summers I spent on my uncles 650sx and 440.

I've been looking for a standup to play with locally, but (like anyone here will be suprised) pwc's are few and far between in Mississippi.

    hmm..
first sugustion... don't put it upside down.
but if you do roll it on the side of the exhast so water doesn't get into the carbs..
i think that would be clockwise if its inverted.

i never had a problem when rolling my ski either way
they never get water in the engine, unlike the sitdowns
