Some here will tell you it won't. I will tell you it will as it's on my 1200 and works fine.

What u mean slower surely the free flow would reduce back pressure. my friend also has a jetworks mode pack any suggestions on that.

It depends on what kind of mods you have. If it's a stock motor it can hurt your speed.

Welcome HHH. For the world of 2stroke, reducing backpressure does not necessarily equate to higher horsepower. The exhaust is a tuned system, and any changes will effect performance either positively or negatively. The big blue Riva hose fits just fine, and is a nice piece, and is relatively quieter than the 12r solution.

    1. D-plate
    2. wave eater clips on the power valves
    3. Flame arrestors and carb mods
    4. Head mod to raise it to 150 PSI

The above mods will give you a solid running ski with out being on the edge. What carb tweaks have you done? this is important to get right.

then for some real speed you need to do some hull tuning.

    1. Jims plate
    2. stepped sponsons
    3. intake grate
    4. impeller
    5. adjust your trim tabs

do some reading on these things the carb jetting and set up is published in many threads as well as setting up your hull.

    Welcome to the forum

Exactly, from the mods you posted you don't need it. It does have a nice deep throaty sound though and not as loud as the 12R aluminum tube. Yes, the jetworks is a good mod for holeshot.
