    ffing BRRRR this morning!

    I took this picture while driving to work this morning.

    That is a -10F. It hit -12F a few minutes after I took that picture.

    We got 12 inches of snow Wed night and now this....

    Don't you love it Mike. We got 8.5" of the white stuff. It is in the low teens right now with the wind chill at 0 and below.

    I'm thankful that even when I go back home for winter break New Jersey is a coastal state. Nothing keeps you warm in the midwest!

    Funny how extreme the temperatures can be out there, I was in Iowa one summer and the temperature was 102 degrees during the day. I hear in the winter it can be in the negatives there...

    The ocean breeze turned all the rain into snow this morning...Water temps still at 45. Should get some good speeds

    My mom is from Iowa, and I grew up in Illniois.
    Those states are sitting atop the Ozark Plateau and it's flat land.
    The wind is always blowing down from Canada, and the West.
    After a 12" snow it may drift to 4' or more.
