Maiden Voyage ! I love this ski !

I just took my Ultra 250 out for the first time. All i can say is WOW ! Everything you guys have been saying is true. Awesome machine. This thing pulls so hard from bottom to top, it's scarey. Especially from 40mph to 60mph....whew.....it really moves. I'm still breaking it in so I didn't get too crazy, but let me tell you, this is best all around watercrafaft I've ever ridden.

I didn't get to ride in any big, choppy water. I was on the Patuxent river, and it was mostly smooth. When I did run into some 1' chop, the Utlra just ate through the rough stuff.

I've got the wedge, but I'm going to hold off on the mod until I ride it in rough water.

    Kawasaki.....well done.

More pics....Oh yeah, this is my usual tow vehicle. The Xterra tows a little better than my Murano. It has a little more power.

40-60 and your still breakin it in? i don't think thats such a good idea. I have an Rxp and they told me never to go past half throttle when breakin her in. I guess there are different break in periods for diff ski's

I clocked 2 hours on it and opened it up a little on the way in. And oh, by the way....I saw an guy on an RXP and he was broken down. He said he had just put a stage II kit on it ( whatever that includes ?? ).

MS, we gotta get together and ride man! My friend just bought a 250X and he wants to ride this week or weekend. Where do you put in at? Fort Armstead?

I certainly wish I had more than 1/2 hours time on an Ultra.

O1XDime....Since it's still a little cool out, and I only want to ride a flat river, I put in at Clydes Watsons Boating area ( http://www.pgparks.com/places/parks/...html#boatramps )

It's close to the Upper Marlboro area. From there it's 30 miles down to Solomons Island. It's a nice smooth run for this time of year.

Later in the season, I'll drop in at Truxton Park ( Annapolis ). I'll usually do some riding down the Magothy River, and then over to Red Eye Dock bar to catch the bikini contest on Sundays !

I'll be on the River until it warms up a bit.

Man I would find another way of straping the rear down, it looks like your going to rub the paint off.
