    burned my shaft?

    Check out this pic of the burn mark I noticed on my driveshaft today. Whddya think?

    Should be fine IMO.

    Put some grease on those splines when you re-install everything.

    I have seen several like that especially on the older GP's

    If you used more lube you wouldnt burn your shaft. Slap some grease on it.

    i keep my shaft greesed with that blue marine greese..no problems so far
