water got sucked in hydrolocked the motor and bent a rod.
needless to say ive had a wonderful day. Every time i turn around something is broke. and its never cheep i realize you have to pay to play but DAMN its getin excesive i cant handle it any more. F speed i want some reliability. Im fixin this pile and buyin a honda

Is this with the riva rear 4 inch intake or a homemade 4 inch ? Where was the inlet?

I think you have a far less chance of ingesting water from submarining the front of your ski if you have a rear air intake as opposed to one mounted more towards the front of the ski or where the stock one was. Just my opinion.

I would not submarine any RXP with any aftermarket air intake.

If you want relialbility fix the RXP, put it back to stock and ride it. The Honda would have done the same thing with the same mod.

how the heck you guys landing nose first????
You musta really sunk it good to get that much water up above the gas tank and down the intake. my 4 inch works fine in the big chop.

So you are calling the RXP a pile when it was actually a homemade aftermarket air intake that cause the problem? That's the problem that is running rampant these days. No one can take responsibility for their own action. YOU did something to damage your ski but you'd rather blame Sea Doo.

You deffinately had alot,,and I meen ALOT of water in the hull to do that. It wasn`t from one wave. My friend,,you have a leak somewhere. Good luck with the rods,,,post up in the classifieds,,used rods are out there.
