What year ski's need the Waveeater Clips installed? I put them on my 2000 XLL a couple years ago but my friend just bought a 2001 XLT and we needed to know if he needed them as well. I know that the factory fixed the problem but I don't know when. Thanks!

Well, I'll just add that to my growing list. This is my first ski so I am new at this. Yellow93 has helped me a lot with a bunch of advice. I bought an 01 XLT1200 with 59 hours, I'll post some pics soon. It is stock, so below are the basics I know I need to do for now. Let me know if I'm missing anything.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I am not the most mechanically inclined. So simple mods are preferred.
Thanks for all the advice.

Dave start with my mod list on my sig file and go from there! I wouldn't say the sponsons are a must have mod, but I got them dirt cheap... you can ride my ski next time and compare the way mine handles now with yours with stock sponsons and see which you prefer.
