no more testing for me
went out for a day at a new location yesterday with steved to see a wind farm and some second world war gun tuttets 8 miles into the ocean(see his avatar).
once back to beach we anchored the skis up for a rest and some food..
sun on our backs and some good food in our belly we sat talking about the ride there and return journey..
"hey paul" thats your gpr floating out to sea;...
crap it was so i ran a few hundred yards to slip ramp and half way down a skier caught my eye and was going to give me a ride to get my baby that was now quite a way away...
so i decided to jump into the water in what i thought was 15 to 20 foot deep water to swim to the other ski...
wrong 5 foot deep with rocks crack...
tryed not to show i was hurt jumped on the back and rescued my baby..
girlfriend rode the rest of the day with bud as was in quite a bit of pain..
felt wose when steve had to load up the skis as i was not a lot of help but tryed my best..
day two..woke in even more pain so went to A&E for x rays..foot broke in two places and swollen so bad it cant be plastered, but this is the best bit,
now go to have operation to pin foot as its all over the place
moral of the story......make sure your anchore line is long enough so the tide wont lift it
thanks again for steve for all his help
at least i will now have time to find the bloody leak in the hull i cant find

Damn Paul. Hope you have a fast recovery.
Take care of that foot bud so you can make it to MudBug.

Hope you recover quick so you dont miss any riding time.
Atleast your Gpr is safe, that could have been a tragedy.

Sorry to hear that Paul. Good thing you friends to help you out.
Remember, tell the doctor you are in extreme pain!! The more painkillers the better. They don't make the bones heal faster but you won't care.

thanks guys, yes the ski is safe and now getting pulled to try to source this leak...
would have been a real bad day if the ski took a blow off some rocks..
bad news is lisa loves the ski more now she has had some ride time alone, and said she will wet test it once i had a spanner up and think i have the leak located,
i've always told her its a bit quick for you to ride babe you sit on the back,
she now has started talking about putting the gps on it and logging her times as she gains ride time, guys its not going to happen..
