Nozzle or repitch or both ?

    01-1200r w/VF II reeds, 150lbs compression,open fa's (rejetted),05 pump w/stock 14/20 Dynafly and 85mm Venturi.

It is turning a best of 7110 and averaged 7080 ish with the power valves obviously in need of attention (sloppy). I know if i use a 87 nozzle I will pick up some RPM's and holeshot.

    2 Questions

Should I get the RPM's up with the 85mm first ? I am going to run it with the 87 on a regular basis for holeshot.

If with the 87 they rpm's are 7200 + do I add pitch to bring them down a little ?

I have the best holeshot and top speed with the 85 and a box stock 14-20. My 1200 with a simular setup runs 7250-7270 in the summer. I would get the demons worked out before you mess with the nozzles. I found a good 50 rpms just getting the valves adjusted corectly. What is your jetting?

Duke, could you elaborate on the valve adjustment and best way to go about it?

    Thanks

110/120 95g springs 1.5 needle and seat. I am going to start with the valves and then start plug chops. I have a feeling my oil adjustment cable may need adjusting.
