    my hulls been scalped

Anybody seen this happen before ? keep ontop of your gelcoat, i had a small piece missing at the front of the hull, but going the high speeds it peeled off like an orange, this nearly threw me over the handle bars, good job i was in superman position with my head on the bars,

See what i think and this is just my theory. I think these hulls delaminating kinda has the same concept as peeling a hardboiled egg. When you run water across the egg nothing happends but soon as u break off a little bit of the shell and run water over the egg allowing water to get under the shell inbetween the egg and the shell the shell will peel right off with ease. So soon as you break some of the gelcoat off from beaching it or whatever which is what looks liek what happend with all those scratches on the front of the hull then go run ure ski high speed not olny will the water get inbetween the fiberglass and the gel coat more and more water will get forced inbetween the fiberglass and gel with the rise of speed forcing the gel coat to peal right off because of the lose of adheasion thats just my theory though i could be wrong
