Correct PV operation
I am stuggling with my 2001 1200r - Took it out for the first time last weekend and ran good after I tightened up all the hoses .
I ran it for about 4 miles on and off the throttle and it was very responsive. Out of no where after a short idle period it wouldnt rev up like it was on 2 cylinders. I pulled a plug that was obviously fouled I think from fogging oil and figured that was the problem.
Tonight I changed to brand new plugs and ran it with no improvement. I verified compression was good and the PV cables were connected.
I went over the electrical connections and verified spark and all looked ok. I am thinking PV's...
How do I troubleshoot them ? I searched through a bunch of threads and I am unlear on how they should cycle.

I had the PV pin to fall out before .You can remove the 3 PV covers and see if all are working

take the cover off then what ? Verify the pin is in or that they move freely ?
