73+ mph & passing the buck?
I couldn't wait till sunday so I went for a ride after work today.
*Installed 87mm nozzle w/ out sprayer, but with siphen intacked, but not hooked up. (yes, I know remove the tube & possibly gain some rpm's. Not happening, keeping the stock bilge)
* Weather conditions per my zip code- Temperature:78°FHumidity:44%Pressure:29.84 inRealFeel®:77 °FWinds:ESE at 8 mphGusts:8 mph
*Half tank pulled several 72.8 & .9's
**** once below 3/4 tank noticed buck, then got progressively worse****
*finally got a good hook up in the water and a decent run of smooth water
**73.2 * 7130 rpm's 1/3 tank fuel
*carbs slightly fat for temp & humidity condition, need to pass through the back. Theys two things are holding me back big time!

Pump sho mod will be next. (only for the xlt & xll)
Nater, Yep. I'll due to do that soon. I need to enjoy my a ski for a week or two. Put some saddle time in and enjoy. I'm starting to become burn like toast with all the wrench time. The shoe mod will be next. Got to get rid of the the buckaroo! DS

you probably wont be able to get rid of the buck without taking angle away or doing the shoe mod....imho.
if you havent...shoe tight to the transome,,,,grate tight to the shoe. elongate as needed.....320 grit last 4 feet, plate, shoe, intake grate, pump, and intake tunnel in the direction of flow...that should free it up a little more...or it could agrevate it. your in the finess area....
imho,the shoe mod will free up the hull.
i really do love these boats.
