Thread: Shortie waterbox?

Any performance gain in having the W/B modded like the RXP guys?
Or is like the old TDR boxes, all noise and no gain?

ive got a PSI sensor before and after the turbo. If your ski is stock you'll gain nothing but noise.

Very good to know.

I'd do it anyway regardless or performance, LOL... the honda needs some noise. It sounds like a Toyota Prius Hybrid when it's running... half the time you dont even know when one IS running.
So i guess modifying the exhaust after the turbo is more or less useless unless you go HUGE bc the turbo IS the "restriction" of the exhaust? not the waterbox or anything else after it?

or just put my Stg1 kit and BIG turbo on. It barks with authority,, sounds nothing like a stocker.. Kind of funny at the shore when you start it, people always look at it.

Could of been free!
Funny you would asked that. If Honda would of used my tune up, gave us a bigger turbo ( I use the same IHI brand as stock only much larger and modified ) and prop work, we would see mid 70’s range and terrific acceleration. Still same 1200cc stock motor.
Think about it.... a turbo’s a turbo, a intercoolers a intercooler and a ECU is a ECU… props a Prop etc… i just replace or improve what is already there. its just they didn't want us going over 62
But instead you’re left with a 61.8 MPH 2-seater.
I guess I couldn't’t wait. And enough wasn't enough for me.. soo I changed that.
