Best way to mount a Garmin Foretrex 101 GPS?

I just got a Garmin Foretrex 101 GPS and want to know the best way to mount it to the bars of a ski? I have the pad removed so I have bare bar to mount to... suggestions?

I have a 101 it came wit an extension strap. I just strap it on arround the bar pad and all it stays on just fine makes it easy to remove and use on my other ski. Btw I dont have a 250 got a 150 and a stx 1100 but if my memory serves me correctly it should work on the 250 also.

I was just wondering if the forerunner 101 gave speed and max speed readings? I'm assuming yes.

They sell a bracket for 15 bucks or less that will bolt to your handle
bars. Leave the strap on the gps and strap it around the bars when it is mounted in bracket. Then you can be assured you will not loose it in rough water.

I suggest the 201 because it has rechargable batteries that last 14 hrs.

Yes it gives both. I assume the 201 is the same the rechargable batteries would be nice.
