You probably should repitch if your turning 7300 hot, but how did the rideplate change your rpms??

I was turning a 14/22 7200rpm at 77.8mph at mudbug last year on my single pipe 1300 non ported, basically the same setup you have plus a keyway.

the ff plate didnt raise them, towards the end of last season i installed vf3's and talked about repitching then when i was running 7340 in cooler weather. then the season went away so i didnt take it any further.

Oh I see now...yes, when it gets hotter you will probably loose a little more too. I think I was turning about 7280, then went to a 14/22 and it turned 7170-7200rpms in the heat.

Add the keyway and around a 14/22 and you should see about 75mph.

Yes, re-pitch and bring your rpm's down and your speed up.

Hello MDGPR, I would get it pitched to a 14/21 and you should be fine probably pick up a little more speed. If you want it pitched let me know.
