    Fuji crank question

Should a rebuilt crank spin "totally" freely after torquing the cases to spec? Or is there a little resistance?

It should be free spinning. The only resistance would be any oil in the bearings and seal drag. Did you get the bearing dowel pins aligned it the case pockets?

Yes, I double checked on those. Maybe it is the new seals dragging.

The seals don't drag that bad. I just pulled the case halves again. Just confirming the torque specs, 16 ft lbs. on the middle bolts, and 26 ft. lbs on the corner bolts right?

Fourth time's a charm! I did it exactly the same way as before, but it rolls much nicer now. I hope I didn't F-up the crank seals with me tightening them down four times.

You should be good. I like to put some 1211 around the seal housing OD.
