    Also in the stand up arena you have the rumored Polaris 900 or 1000cc with major hull mods or possible Kawi hull??

    The cool thing with the GP class, the racers aren't "rumoring" anything. These boyz are bringing the hardware, and are happy to race the ski of thier dreams. They are PROUD to show off these works of late night blood, sweat and tears!

    I applaud these guys and gals.

    Actually, that is sort of what the Europes IJSBA version is. They call it a GP class, and have opened up all the rules for hulls and engines.

    Sadly the USA Ijsba doesn't see the need.... as usual.

    I was at Macc Racing about a month ago and saw this engine sitting on the bench and asked Mac what was up with it...He is a Kawi guy not SD...He said Riff was putting it into the SXR..


    OK, here is the skinny on the motor as waht Riff told me, it is a 947 motor but has been resleved to a 900 since that is the largest cc displacement allowed in that class. It is a Mel Miller motor, and he really didnt tell me much more than that....

    Also the 900 and 1000cc polaris skis are a creation of Eric Malone and used as freestyle boats..If you ever get a chance, look at his website and take a look at what he does to his standups....Incredible...A good friend of mine rode Eric's ski in Nashville last year and said it was a absolue day and night difference compaired to his 1000cc 8mm PV stroker motor in his standup freeride ski.....
