    Cool metal supercharger washer

    replaced my clutch with metal washer on 05 GTXLTSC. i checked the clutch slip before i replaced it, it was 70 in ib. when i replaced the clutch it went up 170 in lb. is this normal ? will it do any damage ?

    After a couple of hours ride time the slip will drop to 110 - 120 in lbs. You will be fine

    Is that where it should be at Jerry 110-120 ?

    that's where I like mine, but its going to vary from supercharger to supercharger depending on wear.

    i have a 06 rxt should i replace the clutch as well

    if you want a worry free ski definetly do the clutch upgrade.
    your supercharger is the weakest link on your ski so why chance it.

    I just bought a new 07 and before i would even start it i got the ceramic clutch off that supercharger

    Jerry, today I smoked a SC bearing! No ceramics in the engine and the clutch slipped just enough to know I was having a failure... Your washers saved my week. 8480 rpm to E-E-E-K-G-H! I cringe at the thought of the alternative.......

    How difficult is it to remove the SC so I could send it to you? Any one write the procedure yet?
