    Umi Finger Throttle

I recently installed some UMI bars w/finger throttle on the factory steering system. I can' seem to get it to WOT before it hits the handlebar grip. At full realese it just sits on the idle stop but at WOT I'm bout 1/4in. away from the full throttle stop.

Did you try adjusting the cable? I put the angle throttle on my first RXP and remember having to dremel a bit on the back of the throttle lever so that i could get full range of motion.

I installed two Riva finger throttles a month ago and had to adjust the cable on both skis...

I personally prefer straight. The are straight with the bars. The angled angles down a bit.

j2, can you post a pic of your setup? I'm interested in dirtbike bars and a finger throttle, but not willing to spend $700 on the whole UMI system.

Yes I adjusted both at the throttlebody n the finger throttle. It's adjusted right but I can't seem to get the full range of motion outta the throttle. I don't wanna have to trim off some aluminum but I think thats what it looks like.

Sorry the pics are bad. UMI bars, VTS button housing grips n locking compound, finger throttle and adapter on a stock steering getup should be just over 2 bills. I had to cut n re solder/heatshrink the harness to keep it looking clean. The mode set button is on the right by the throttle.Add some 1/4in split flex over the heat shrink. More protection and it looks real clean.
