Don't know. Somewhere in the mid 60's static. I don't use rising rate.

I just turn till its where it needs to be

    thats all..... for now

So you are claiming 74 MPH and the only performance (speed) mod you have is the air filter and ribbon delete?
I can support his claim. I was at 74 with SCOM, Ribbon delete, Cold air intake. Now at 76 with the addition of Solas 13/20...
AND He did mention SCOM.. Hey David, I was at around the same rpm as you for what it's worth...
    So Sam, it's not a claim, it's a fact
David, any chance you can explain ride plate shimming or even a pic? I have no idea about mods.. I just learn from you guys here and try and do within my capacity and limitations little bits to give me anything better then stock without voiding my warranty...

By the way guys, for whoever is interested in seeing facts, and seeing is believing... I have uploaded a video to youtube to show you what my ski is doing with my mods. So you can understand what went on, I show first that the Candoo GPS module displays on my dash exactly what my GPS on my phone displays.. Then, on the first launch, because I didn't know what to expect, the improved hookup I got from the Solas was (stock prop= cavitation out of the hole), total hook up to the point where the ski totally launched out of the water (trim all the way up)... I didn't realize and was totally surprised. The video shows my phone GPS showing zero max speed at the beginning and then top speed after run uncut and raw footage. Also, you can pause it any time at top speed and read the dials on my dash....
I hope you enjoy the vid...

David removed the Factory plates between the ride plate and the Hull, and added .082" (2.1mm) shims/washers at the leading edge(front two bolts) of the ride plate and zero shims at the trailing edge of the plate. This will produce more angle on the plate and additional lift of the hull at speed. Too much angle will produce a bounce and reduce speed. If the increased angle does produce bounce, add shims/washers to the (rear two bolts) trailing edge of the ride plate to produce a "balanced" hull at speed.

Wow. Cool. Thanks for that Brian. Is there any seals that are broken, or glue that needs to be replaced when removing the plates? It sounds like a pretty simple job. Is it that simple to do as it sounds? Do you need any special tools like a torque wrech to tighten the bolts or do you do them up as tight as you can?
    Thanks heaps for the explanation.

A photo wont show the shims after the R_Plate is bolted back on to the Hull.

0.0820 ( a little over 2mm's ) on the [2] Front bolts which consisted of a large Fender Washer
and a thin 'U' Shaped Shim on top to equal 0.0820 thickness between the top surface of the R_PLate
and the bottom surface of the Hull where it bolts on.

Realize though that all Hulls are a little different and how they
are pulled from the mold does affect their characteristics.
You may need +/- shimming to get it right -
