I know you knew the answer to this (remember, you've bought a four place RXT with a radio):

I'm not a fan of the dealers by any means, but it could be worth a little piece of mind to bite the bullet and let them do the 10 hour. I know they can't void your warranty if you don't take it to them, but just something to consider. For me, I guess I had to bring it back to get the bimini and depth finder installed anyway, and figured I was at least setting up good relations by having them do the first one.

But then, what the hell am I talking about? I used to have a little Toyota MR2 and had the dealership change the synthetic oil once a month. When the engine blew at 16,000 miles, they still screwed me and voided the warranty for no reason! OK, forget what I said before.

Welterracer, were you talking about the manual they give you when you buy the boat or a shop manual? If you have a shop manual I would sure like to know where you got it, my dealer says they are not available yet.

He's talking about the owner's manual, no way the service manual is going to say to take it to the dealer.

The 2007 4-TEC manuals are finally out:

I don't know if they plan on releasing anything specifically for the boats, but this covers the engine.
