    Thanks to Randy at Watcon

I was having trouble with my PET 2100DX tach. I couldn't get a good reading on the P23:46 setting. Only the P21:42 seeting seemed to work, and only at higher rpms.
I emailed Randy, and he came back right away with a few suggestions. I wrapped the tach wire around all three spark plug wires and BAM! the tach is working perfectly on the P23:46 setting.
Kudos to Randy for helping me out, and if anybody is having trouble getting good readings, you might want to try wrapping the tach wire around all 3 spark plug wires.

I hope there are pics below this...

The wire from the tach is wrapped once around the #3, once around the #2 (with a zip-tie to hold it in place), and couple turns around #3 (with a zip-tie). This is the only way I have gotten the tach to work, and it works perfectly with this set-up.

This does work. I was having the same problem with my tach and installed it like is said here and it actually reads correctly now. Thanks for the info.
