    Skat pump stator cracked

I got the rest of the pump in the mail today. Took some pics of the two cracks. Looks like somebody attempted to weld it but it didn't work out too good. I'm hoping I can get it welded, what do you think? Is it cast aluminum?

it is cast, so it is weldable. To do it properly, the stator section would need to be removed so that all the corrosion can be removed from between the parts, the aluminum welded, then the housing bored for propper fit to the stator.

Easy weld for an experienced welder.

    Have it welded and RIDE.

My Solas looked the same way. It still in in service today.
