painting and stripping hull ????
Whats the best way to remove glue from the mats and silicone ? i think its the 3m stuff and i need something to loosen it up

PB Blaster and a scotch brite pad worked for me!

I second that on the Goof Off. I would be concerned about the PB Blaster soaking into the smc and creating problems if you are going to paint. A plastic body filler applicator works well with the Goof Off too.

"OOPS" product I got from Home Depot and the plastic scrapper worked for me. At times I had to use 3M rubbing compound and let it soak into the adhesive, then it came off real easy. Some type of ingredient in the compound breaks down the adhesive properties.
