    R-Rated exhaust

Has anyone installed one of the R-Rated exhuast pipes? I am very close to buying one but was hoping somebody had purchased and installed one. The Riva exhaust is $200.00 and the R-Rated is $80.00 A big difference. This thing needs a more aggressive exhaust note. It's too quite!

The pipe from R-Ratde will illiminate the second water box. It does offer a little more sound but more importantly it offers better throttle response.

The theory behind the U pipe was so that guys could reverse the modification. As it is the Riva is a non-reversable modification.

Any one you go with will not show major gains untill you add a air intake with it.

Of course you will have to totally remove your intercooler and disconnect all the hoses to do this

Is that true? I beleive you but it sure makes it sound like a MUCH bigger job! I take it the most time consuming part is the intercooler removal and re-installation? How long to do the whole thing for someone eho has never done it before? I want to do it just to remove some of the potential problems from hose pop-off. Thanks!

Its actually pretty easy, its pretty self explanitory, the Inter cooler only
sits in there one way and all the plumbing is pretty much set in place,
the only hard part is the hose on the bottom of the Inter cooler. The first time I took my apart it took about 2 1/4 hours for me to remove every thing ( oill catch can, intercooler,,secondary water box, exhaust nozzle.......) and install the exhaust tube, and put everything back together, there are some instructions with the kit, and a shop manual also helps.
