Debatingon an RXP over an RXT
Shibby's gonna kill me, and im sure my salesman would too, but recently ive been looking at the RXP thinking i should transfer my deposit towards one of those and buy an RXP instead.
Someone talk me into/out of it. Im just wanting pure speed....

You're leaving us 3 seater junkies???????
You can have pure speed on a RXT...
You ride the OCEAN right??? It IS your decision though....

No, im staying with the 3 seater. Im just getting anxious and they have RXPs there already leftover from 05. I gotta be strong....!!!!!
I just need to buy some mods for an RXT to hold me over till it gets in
I ride lake/bay/ocean/rivers/canals(im going to trailer this thing everywhere, even to my sisters house in FL on a canal) so a 3 seater is deffinently a better choice!

Im glad you got your head back on straight!!!
I did the same thing in the beginning. I changed my deposit from the RXP to the GTX LTD. Too many watersports to doo on the 3 seater...Storage!!!!

I have an rxp and an rxt. They are both very fast. The rxp is just a bit faster but when my 115 pound wife races me and she is on the rxt she can keep right up. Probably losing weight is the cheapest and best mod for increased speed.
The rxt is drier and much better in the chop. I love it.
The only problem I have with it, and maybe shibby can chime in to see what he does, is the storage.
It is actually too big. I am 5'9" and when I ride I like to take my wet shoes off and put them in the front storage, along with some water and a rope. But I cant lean over and reach the bottom of that darn thing. I started using a hydropak on my back for water.
If I go on a pinic to the beach with the family then it is great beacause I fill the storage with food, drink, towels, blanket, kids toys and much more, and park at the beach.

Shibbersquirrel probably jumps in the storage area and gets what he needs ans then jumps back out...

You can ride 4 on that ski. 3 on the seats and lock shibby in the front storage compartment.

LMAO!! thanks guys
actually, you are almost right... i throw ropes and shoes and crap in there, then u ride around, and it all gets mixed up and u can't see it! so i gotta lean over the handlebars and suspend my feet in the air scrambling about looking for it... TRUE STORY... onetime i was leaning over the bars too much digging in the bottom of the front compartment and my body turned the handlebars real sharp all the sudden and i rolled over the handlebars and off the side of the ski
best suggestion for the RXT... BUY THIS!! trust me... SO SO worth it. Solves the exact problem you speak of jack. May not look like anything, may not look like it will do the trick, but i tell ya what. if you buy it and don't like it for solving your front storage fishing problem, i'll personally refund you your money

I will prob not have much stuff stored in it for the most part, but the 3 seats will come in handy im sure. and on occasion, the storage will. mostly wanted it for the watersports ability.
Like i said im just getting ancy. I still need to order my full wetsuit, but im waiting on the ski to do that cause i know if it comes in before i have the ski im gonna be dying to try it out. I think my first ride on my ski is gonna be in 45º air

I saw that on the site in the past and wondered about it. OK I will give it a try.
I will still use the hydropak since I have grown to really love it.
