Where is a good spot to mount the transducer for a depth finder inside the hull of a 06 RXT??

I just installed a hawkeye finder in my RXT and what do you know, it works. I used 2 small pieces of lexan epoxied to the transducer then sanded down to an angle so it will match the angle of the mounting spot in the hull. Epoxied on the spot and it works!! I mounted the round gauge on my glove box cover. Good Luck!!!

Did you put it in the spot Mark is talking about in the aft part of the craft? Seems to me that is right over the intake grate but I could be wrong since that's where BRP says to put the stock one
