    It started!!!

Well I got the engine dropped in and all bolted up over the past few night. Filled up the jerry can today and fired it up for the first time. Started on the first try, with the primer of course. Idles nice and seems to rev up easily. The true test will be on water...

I have had this question for a while, and I think you can help. I ran the same dual cooling as you did but I don't know how to run the ski on the hose. Since I now have dual cooling, do I have to modify the way I hook it up to the hose? If I run it like it is, no water will get to the exhaust chamber, is that okay? Right now I have the garden hose filling "teed" into the main cooling line. Do I also have to "tee" it into the 2nd cooling line? How did you do it bainer?

water just goes overboard no need for water in the box that sthe beauty of it. when you flush it you dry the box out.

Bainer the motor looks Good!!! I like the way the intake tilts the carbs sweet setup.

    Metal,

I didn't change anything for the dual cooling, as Bill says it dries out the box. You don't run the ski for really long periods of time on the hose so the box and rubber exhaust hose can't get hot enough to melt. So everything should be safe with the dual cooling setup.

Yeah Bill these carbs are sweet with that intake, the f/a's barely fit on. They actually rest against the hull because of the limited space...
