    Question on 2007 Seadoos

My dealer is telling me that according to his BRP maintenance manual or shop guide for 2007 SC models, the ceramic washers are now REQUIRED to be changed out something like every 50 or 100 hours, someone with a shop, can you check, confirm this?

Dealer says metal ones will void BRP warranty.

I would have Jerry put in the metal washers in in then you do not have to worry about WHEN the ceramics break. There are quite a few people that have had the ceramics break and take it to the dealer. All they did was put a new ceramic back in and not properly clean everything out and check the pump. Guess what? It cost them an engine later down line.

i have an 07 rxp, my washers blew up in first 2hrs of break in time. Dealer fitted metal washers under warrenty, and its not voided. I just paid for the washers cause its non brp part. Ski now pulls like a train, my manual states washers to be changed out at 100 hrs. Its a sure bet they wont make 50hrs if you ride balls to the wall, like we all do.

One word for dealers and BRP......fools.

I have a warranty question for you guys. How is it that one dealer can say such and such is ok under warranty and another says no? My dealer told me that BRP requires them to take pictures of the problem and send them in so BRP can look them over and determine if the work can be done under warranty or not. Now how can one dealer get around that and others can't? Some dealer's have got to be feeding everyone a ton of BS. Makes me sick.
