Do Rad Lw Flywheels Do Anything?

ive heard some say they do nothing and others say they protect your crank snout others say they really improve throttle response.any opinions from those who have actually tried them?

I've heard that there's a very noticeable increase in acceleration.

If your talking about the rad charging wheel? They crack right at the crank snout and cause all kinds of wierd stuff. Stay away from them.

They break!! Save yourself some problems and stay away from them. The older GP models held up better than the newer GPR ones did.

I have a RAD total loss wheel and like it makes the motor more feel snappy liked it so well when I found a used one I bought it for my other boat just haven't got it installed yet.
That being said there was no speed in it but less weight on the end of a crank snout is always a good thing.
    my 2 cents

The non charging wheels dont seem to suffer from the cracking problem like the charging wheels do.

Rad charging flywheels break no getting around it. Total loss is a different animal all together. I believe jeff was talking about a charging one but I may be wrong

Got a charging one that cracked after 80 hours. If you ride in rough water dont une it.

The Total loss has about 100 hours and still ok!!!
