You have a BIG something to promote yourself for the Job-it appears that you have a huge interest in the parts job and thats something I look for in a person when I interview them. From this forum I can tell you interact with others in a positive way, for a parts job this type of peoples skill are a must. Do you have a past employer that would do a write up on you with a good contact number? Can you sell yourself on dependability(attendance)?

    Thumbs up

If it is a job where customers call in and want to know if you have a part in stock, etc you need to show to the boss that you can manuver around the inventory program and get the correct part number for the customer quickly. Good phone skills help out.

Learn the basics of the products that the company will be selling.

Be customer focused, you want repeat customers.

Make sure the boss knows that you have a interest in the boating / pwc field.

Be positive on your interview and dont complain about your previous jobs. Dont under sell yourself. Answer interview questions with enough information but dont be too wordy...get to the point.

    Good Luck

And I thought I was the only one who knew what they were working on.
