Did you check the fuse in the elec box for the MFD? And for the speedo, it's a kit that is pretty easy to install. No wiring involved.

Ya the fuse is fine...disconnect the battery overnight and the MFD works for a bit then stops...tried recalibration and didnít help...unless Iím doing wrong

What is this kit you talk about?

That is a Polaris kit. The # is written on the box in the pic. He won it off Ebay for a little over $40 shipped. There was one in the Ebay store, but someone bought it for $50 shipped. Have you ran your ski without the MFD working? It may go into limp mode without a MFD signal.

Is there a reason I could not just use a boat speedo...would it not work the same?

As long as it is a speedo that works buy pressure it will work. there is a pice of hose that looks like fish tank hose on the back of you mfd display that you will have to make sure that fits on your new speedo.

I have installed a speedo in a boat before so I know what hose you're talking about...do I have to change the fin as well or will one on the craft work just as well
