The place I would like to start-Old Hickory Lake/Cumberland River Lock and Dam is in the Nashville area.

In this ride, we would go past downtown Nashville @ 25 miles from the starting point, then another @ 25 miles to Rock Harbor Marina to fuel up, then its open river to Ashand city guessing it would be @ 40 more miles, with a fuel stop there, then on to Clarksville.

Or We Could Put In Old Hickory And Go The Other Way. We
Used To Put In At Shutes Branch,
Top Off At Bledsoe, Upsteam 72 Miles Thru Cordell Hull Lock,
To Defeated Creek For Lunch And Gas.
On To Granville Marina To Top Off, That Will Get Us To Dale Hollow Dam. The Only Bad Thing Is It Is A 1 Way Trip. We Have
To Have Trailers Waiting Or Some Ho's To Come Pick Us Up At The End Of The Trip. It's A 200 Mile Day Trip With Some Awsome Scenery.

Ask Jeff Seifert About It! Funny Story!!!

Yeah, They took the wrong wrong river, had TWRA ,Sherrifs dept, Police looking for them, out of gas and drifting down the river at night, I bet it wasnt that funny to them when it was happening, lol. Ive made the Defeated Creek run a few times already, I want to go the other way for a change.
