Motorcycle Nuts. I have ?? About this GSXR750
Hey guys I have a friend that is need of some money to help get his family a little something for christmas. So he wanted to know if I would buy his 1995 GSXr 750
It has not been run in 5 years and will not start. He states it ran before it was put up in the garage. 14,000 miles on it and it has a little cosmetic damage. He asked me to give him $2000
What do ya'll think? I will be out for most of the day, but please leave me some info.

Sounds a little steep for a bike thats 11yrs old that doesnt run...

for $2000 you can get a newer bike that runs. Check ebay motors
here is a 2001 with 10k miles for $1100. I dont know what it will get bid up to but you look more closely before spending that kind of money on it.
I might entertain the idea for $500.
check this one out
2003 SUZUKI GSX 1300 R 9000 miles sold for $2600

They will get bid up way past $2500 for sure. And that one Busa is a scam.
I wish they were that cheap.
I was thinking $1200.
Would this be to much. I tried to post pics but they are a format that won't upload.

That bike books out at $2100 (low retail) running. I'd be hard pressed to give someone $500 for a non-running bike with a wholesale (running) value around $1200.

I am gonna call him in the am.
I am gonna offer $750 as it doesn't run. Mostly because he is a good guy and also I know nothing about it.
He knows what it is worth.
