Lost speed question on 2002 RXDI

I have a pair of 02 RXDI's. Ususally top out about 59MPH by the Phodometer. I changed the plugs and cleaned the Raves over the winter now one only runs at 55. Any thought on what might be up???
    Thanks

How old is the fuel and check your wear ring in the pump.
It is the plastic ring around the impellor. If it is tore up you will loose performance.

I looked up in there and it would appear something did get in there due to the marks on the impeller. where can I get an new wear ring? local dealer or is the web best?

I pulled the pump and it appears I have some pretty significant damage to the prop. Not much material is missing on the prop. should i repair or get a nujet or other? I will just replace wear ring while Im at it. Where is a good place to get one. Found a nujet on ebay for $165. Local sea doo dealer is $230 + tax. Anyone have suggestions?

a stock prop is hard to beat on that ski, I would say no to a nu-jet.

    OEM impeller

    sdrider,
I own a '02 RXDI that the wife rides. I had Impros put a rec finish and repitch to the OEM impeller. It now runs consistently 60-61 mph and 6930-6950 rpm. Not bad for a stock RXDI w/some of the air snorkel components/rubber flaps removed, and ride plate holes and intake grate holes filled. Dave @ Impros knows what to pitch the impeller to (14/20.5) to get these RPMs. Impros can repair the OEM impeller as well.
Jerry has added Impros to the tuners corner recently which is a nice addition to the forum. You should be able to find contact info there. Get a hold of Impros and they will take care of you.

sdrider, No problem. Good luck with the repair.
Look for info on Impros in the Yamaha Tuner's Corner section of the forum.
