    Rode 100 miles today

Picked up a brand new RXT and Ultra 250X. We rode from a neighboring island 105 miles away following a 30 ft crusier in 4-6ft swells.
During our journey we compared skis.

    RXT
    25 Gal used
    Dry Ride
    63.4 GPS at 8 hours

    Ultra 250
    39 Gal used
    Wet Ride
    62.5 GPS at 8 hours

The RXT is faster but the ULtra blows it away in rough water but its very wet.

Sounds fun, a few months back we did something like that we had calm water one day ( not even one chop) we went to Venezuela go to a restaurant on the beach eat some lobsters and come back. Want to do it again but water is rough these days.

And there it is. The Ultra is great for rough water, but like I've been thinking all along, the RXT gives you identical or more speed for about half the fuel.

That was an awsome ride, my friend on the Ultra was bragging all day today. No one can believe that 2 Jet Skis could make that kinda crossing.
My neck is sore but the sun burn is the worst part.We blocked with 50 SPF twice. Got to say, the RXT impressed me with its dry ride and low gas burn. BUT the engine compartment was loaded with salt. The Ultra's engine was clean. The Ultra just walked away from the RXT in the rough, which is what we ride in most of the time. The RXT is for my Dad and he loves it, especially the yellow and black. I am gonna have lots of fun this summer. Already got the washers off the RXT today at 8 hours, luckly it made it without breaking up. Here are a few more pics.
