OT:Double your gas mileage? Is this true??
My friend sent me this link and it states if you add pure acetone to the gas in a prescribed amount, that you can double the mileage you get.
Anyone know anything about this???
See the clip here:

Does not work. Neither does turning off your car while idling. Turning off and on your car uses more gas than idling.
Myth Busters tested this myth and busted it. Scroll down to the bottom.

I like it when people driving manuals put it in neutral while going down hills. They think they are saving gas. But really if your motor was turning 8000 rpm and your foot is not on the gas, it will not use any gas while going down a hill.
